Career OpportunityEmployment in the field of beauty care is both plentiful and diverse. If you enjoy meeting new people and advising them on their appearance and style, then you may opt to become a beauty consultant, you may wish to open your own beauty care salon and provide employment opportunities for others, or you may want to work at the cosmetic counter of a high street department store. All these career choices need knowledge of the beauty care industry.
The training requirements and certification needed to work in this field vary, depending upon the job you’re seeking. There are entry-level positions you will be able to pursue based on the knowledge that your DCA diploma will demonstrate. Other jobs may require you to build on this diploma with additional training or certification.
